The Mono Charity Competition
Mono itself was founded on the belief that all SMEs deserve a beautiful, well-performing website, despite smaller budgets. The Mono Charity competition is a proud Mono Tradition that puts this belief into practice. All employees can submit one or more websites of their own making to win a prize. All Mono employees can build a website for a friend or family member in need and there is a free .com or .dk domain included per site.

SMEs at the heart
Why do we have this competition?
We are so proud of this tradition – because it really hits the core of why Mono was founded – that all SMEs, freelancers, or portfolio sites deserve a professional website design and great performance - while also ensuring that our employees from all departments have hands-on experience with our website builder.
With this competition, the Mono team can better understand how end-users use the Mono Editor, what is fantastic and what could be improved in terms of user experience, and improve communication of the Mono products - both marketing and help center articles.
And the winner is...
Voting for the Charity Competition
First and foremost, what is the website's purpose? When creating the website, really consider what the website is used for and its goal. Website design is important, but so are conversions. Conversions can vary depending on the SME, the sector of the SME, or if the site is for a freelancer or serves as a portofolio website.
In the past, the winner was determined by popular vote and annouced at the Christmas party.
